Olivia & Andrew’s fall Filter Building wedding was magical. It was the kind of day that feels effortlessly beautiful from beginning to end—thoughtful, personal, and filled with quiet moments that matter just as much as the celebration itself.
Olivia and Andrew met at work where their shared ambition and steady personalities created an easy connection. From the very beginning, their relationship felt grounded and intentional—something that translated seamlessly into the way they approached their wedding day.
When they reached out to me after finding my work online, they shared how much they valued timeless imagery and a calm, guided experience. It was important to them that their day felt natural and enjoyable, not rushed or overly staged—and that set the tone for everything that followed.
They chose The Filter Building for both their ceremony and reception, and it couldn’t have suited them better. Nestled along White Rock Lake, the venue offers a unique combination of historic charm and refined, modern elegance.
The lakeside setting gave their Filter Building wedding an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. With water just steps away and the skyline subtly in the distance, it created a sense of escape while still feeling distinctly Dallas.
The wedding took place on a crisp November day—one of those perfect Texas fall afternoons where the air is cool, the sky is softly overcast, and everything feels calm.
With guests dressed in rich emerald tones and the lake as a backdrop, there was an almost Irish countryside feel to the day. It was relaxed, joyful, and incredibly warm in spirit. Everyone seemed fully present, soaking in each moment alongside Olivia and Andrew.
Olivia chose a timeless color palette of white and emerald green—her favorite color—and it brought such a sophisticated depth to the design. The wedding party dressed in emerald created a cohesive, elevated look that complemented the natural tones of the venue beautifully.
And then there was the detail Olivia had been talking about since our very first consultation—the green couch.
It became a standout piece of the day. Styled perfectly within the reception space, it added personality and intention, while also creating one of my favorite portrait moments of the entire celebration.
One of the most memorable moments of the day happened during the ceremony.
Olivia’s brother served as the officiant, which immediately made the experience feel deeply personal. As Olivia walked down the aisle, he became emotional—tearing up as he saw his sister. It was one of those moments that quietly pauses time. You could feel the weight of family, history, and love all coming together in a single glance.
It’s those moments I’m always watching for—the ones that can’t be planned but mean everything.
From ceremony to reception, the entire day flowed with ease. Olivia and Andrew were surrounded by people who truly love them, and that energy carried through every part of the celebration.
As their photographer, I guided them through portraits with a balance of direction and space—ensuring they always had beautiful light and natural movement, without ever pulling them away from the experience for too long. It’s something I’m intentional about: creating images that feel elevated while still allowing the day to unfold organically.
After their wedding, Olivia and Andrew shared words that meant so much to me:
“If she’s available, definitely book Danielle. She goes above and beyond to give detailed directions with perfect lighting for every shot! I can’t express how much we love all the photos she has taken that will be cherished a lifetime!”
If you’re considering a Filter Building wedding, it’s truly one of Dallas’s most unique venues—perfect for couples who want a blend of history, lakeside beauty, and refined design.
